Cancellation Rights and Returns Policy

§ 1 General Information

This cancellation policy and returns policy govern the cancellation rights and the return of goods purchased through the online shop CODE ZERO, WWW.CODEZERO.EU. These terms and conditions are supplementary to our General Terms and Conditions (GTC). Any deviating agreements require written form. This policy complies with European Union law.

§ 2 Right of Cancellation

(1) You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

(2) The cancellation period will expire after fourteen days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. In the case of a contract for the sale of several goods ordered by the consumer in a single order and delivered separately, the cancellation period expires fourteen days after the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

You can use the model cancellation form below, but it is not obligatory.

(4) To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

§ 3 Effects of Cancellation

(1) If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

(2) We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

(3) You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

(4) You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

§ 4 Exceptions to the Right of Cancellation

The right to cancel does not apply to contracts for the supply of:
* goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
* goods which are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized;
* goods which are by their nature not suitable for return or may deteriorate or expire rapidly, if their packaging has been opened after delivery;
* goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other goods;
* sealed audio or sealed video recordings or sealed computer software if the seal is broken after delivery;
* newspapers, periodicals or magazines;
* digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if the performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent before the expiry of the cancellation period and acknowledgement that they lose their right of cancellation once the performance has begun.
